You need an account to use Ventlio. You agree to give accurate details when you register and to keep them up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account, including anything done by staff you invite to your business. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to your account.
A business you create in Ventlio belongs to you. When you invite staff, you are giving them access to that business’s records, and you decide what they may see and do. You are responsible for making sure the people you invite are allowed to see your business records, and for removing their access when they leave.
The stock, sales, customer and financial records you enter into Ventlio remain yours. We store and process them so we can provide the service to you — nothing more. We do not sell your business records, and we do not share them with other businesses on Ventlio.
You agree not to: • Use the app for anything unlawful, or to record trade in goods you are not allowed to sell. • Try to access another business’s records, or any part of our systems you have not been given access to. • Copy, resell or rent the app, or attempt to reverse engineer it. • Interfere with the service — for example by overloading it, scraping it, or introducing malicious code. • Upload content that infringes someone else’s rights, or that you have no right to share.
Some features require a paid plan. Prices, billing periods and what each plan includes are shown in the app before you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel before the renewal date. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not refund the period you are already in, except where the law requires otherwise. If a payment fails we may limit access to paid features until it is settled. Your records are not deleted because of a failed payment.
Ventlio is built to keep working when your network does not: work recorded offline is saved on your device and syncs when you reconnect. We aim to keep the service available at all times, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may take it down for maintenance, and we may change or discontinue features as the product develops.
Ventlio calculates figures such as stock levels, profit and outstanding balances from what you enter. The accuracy of those figures depends on the accuracy of your entries. Ventlio is a record-keeping tool, not accounting, tax or legal advice. Please check important figures before relying on them for filings or decisions.
You may stop using Ventlio at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, is used unlawfully, or puts other users or our systems at risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.
We provide Ventlio with reasonable care and skill, but to the extent the law allows we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — for example lost profits or lost business — arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms as the product changes or the law requires. When we make a significant change we will let you know in the app or by email, and we will update the date above. Continuing to use Ventlio after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Questions about these terms can go to support@ventlio.com, or reach us from Profile > Support inside the app.
